THE KEY TO SAFETY IS TEAMWORK!

Safety is of utmost importance in the operation of our hockey organization. A big part of our objectives as a minor hockey organization is to create a minor sports environment which is safe and fun for all participants.

Through Hockey Canada, organizations such as The London Junior Knights have made huge advances in delivering a safe environment. Board members and coaches are better trained and have a far better understanding of risk management than we did as little as five years ago. Everyone in our organization who comes in contact with the children and young men making up our membership, is subject to an annual Police Screening Process. This is done discreetly but effectively, with the privacy of our largely volunteer Board and coaching staff given the highest priority.

Certified trainers are on the bench, all coaches are trained in harassment and abuse issues. Coaches are certified through the NCCP. We have harrassment and abuse procedures in place. We are better able to provide the right environment for your child, to help them come away with a more positive hockey experience, than we have ever had before. And, most important of all, like Canada`s Flying Ambassadors, The Snowbirds, we work together as a team!
