Tim Hickman Memorial Tournament

The 2009 Tim Hickman Memorial Tournament ended well for the Junior Knights with the PeeWee team winning 4-2 over the North York Knights. The Minor Atom team played a great final losing 1-0 to North Toronto while the Minor PeeWee team lost in overtime in the semi-finals.

Our thanks again this year to the Hickman family for their work over the three days. It is great to have Tim's parents,Shirley and Bob, his brother Michael and Michael's wife Sandra on the ice for the presentations. This year we were bringing along a third generation of presenters with Michael and Sandra's children helping to hand out the awards.

This is the end to our tournament season for 2009/10 and we need to pass along our thanks to Christianne Russell, Joe O'Neill, Kevin Dartch and all of the volunteers that make these tournaments a success.
