Jr. Knights launch new online Tryout Registration system.

The London Jr. Knights are pleased to announce the introduction of a new, online Tryout Registration system for the 2008-2009 season. The new online service, which allows prospective players and their families to conveniently enter the necessary registration information from their home or business, is the first of a three-phase process designed to move the entire Jr. Knights client management program online.

The new Tryout Registration module, now available on homepage menu, captures the initial contact information of both new and returning Jr. Knights prospects. In this first phase, Registrants will enter key contact information and receive a confirmation email, an applicable Registration Fee schedule, a copy of the necessary Waiver Forms and further registration instructions via email. Registrants will still be required to either send the applicable Registration Fees and signed Waiver Forms via mail to the designated address, or attend one of the Knights designated Registration days below.

In future phases to be introduced over the next two years, the system will invite Registrants to complete the entire Registration process online including payment and Waiver Form execution.

Overall the new system will dramatically improve communication between players, coaches and the Association. For example, the online contact information will be used transmit real-time weather data and potential schedule changes to teams prior to road trips. It will also assist the Association in managing its prospect file and player history. Finally, the new system will save both parents and Association volunteers countless hours entering and re-entering contact data. The system was developed in partnership with Cyberteks Design and funded in part with a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
