SHIRLEY HICKMAN HONOURED

Shirley is the mother of Tim Hickman, who was fatally injured in one of our arenas 11 years ago, when an ice resurfacing machine he was fueling exploded. Shirley and her husband Bob, together with other members of the community, including former Junior Knights Board members, formed the Tim Hickman Foundation. Shirley has worked tirelessly for the past decade promoting workplace safety.

During the third weekend of each November, the Junior Knights host the Tim Hickman Memorial Tournament, which honours Tim's memory. Congratulations to Shirley on behalf of all the members of the Junior Knights!
