In their first game the Jr Knights challenged the Mississauga Senators, who are undefeated in regular season play, and lost a tough one 3-2 in overtime. The Jr Knights outshot the Sen's 36-18.
In Game 2 the Jr Knights faced off against the Texas Alliance Bulldogs. With the Jr Knights clicking on all cylinders they tamed the Bulldogs 12-1. On Saturday morning the Jr Knights played the host Welland Tigers and squeaked out a 5-4 win. London scored all 5 of their goals on the power play. In their final round robin game the Jr Knights went to battle against their league rivals the Windsor Jr Spitfires. The Spits gunned down the Jr Knights 2-1.
In the semi finals the Midgets met Mississauga again. The team came out flying and skated away with an 8-2 victory. The win earned gave them a rematch with Windsor in the tournament finals. The Championship game was tightly contested and the lead swapped hands a couple times. The Jr Knights stepped it up late in the 3rd to score 2 late goals and walk away with a 4-3 win to clinch the tournament Championship.
