Earlybird AAA Invitational tournament an early Success

The London Jr Knights made most of their home tournament by placing 3 of the 4 teams into the finals. The Minor Atom team coached by Darrel McNeil lost to Clarington in the finals 6-3. London had beaton Clarinton 3-2 earlier in the tournament. The Major Atom team coached by Dave Warren lost 4-2 in a closely contested game to the St Louis Amatuer Blues.

In the Minor Peewee division final, Dan Trepanier's team defeated the St. Louis Amateur Blues 4-3 in overtime. The game was a battle of the undefeated and featured end to end hockey with some great goaltending particularly in the final minutes of the game.
